Who Is The Antichrist

A Revelation of who the Antichrist really is.
Print entire booklet

In recent years, there has been a tremendous increase in interest within Christian circles as to what the Bible reveals about the course history will follow. One of the most popular beliefs to emerge is the conviction that a single man will arise, the Antichrist, who will personally fulfill many prophecies in the Bible. A real expectation has developed, fueled by a continuing stream of books and films, that this individual will soon appear in Jerusalem, demand to be worshiped and revered as a god, and quickly ascend to the position of supreme world dictator. We, the Christadelphians, ask you to compare what the Bible reveals concerning the Lord Jesus Christ at his second coming on the one hand, with what many Christian and Religious Leaders teach this Antichrist, will do.

The books presenting the Antichrist theory ("The Late Great Planet Earth" and "Will the Real Antichrist please stand up?") claim that a Jewish prophet from the twelve tribes of Israel will appear and claim he is the Messiah of Israel. This Antichrist will defeat Russia when it attacks Israel, then declared to the world that He is the King ruling from the city of Jerusalem, the future capital of the world, to rule over the world. He also will build the temple at mount Moriah in Jerusalem and perform many miracles. This Antichrist, will demand all the world accept his rule or He will punish those nations who refuse to be submit to him. These books disclosed that the Antichrist is going to be given absolute authority to act with the power of Satan. Many Christian denominations have accepted these ideas and support this Antichrist theory.

This Antichrist theory is false! The Bible tells us that the real, literal, visible Lord Jesus Christ will be returning to the Earth (Matthew 24:30). The Lord Jesus Christ is a Jewish prophet from the twelve Tribes of Israel, will be called the King of the Jews (Matthew 2:2, Jeremiah 23:5, 2 Samuel 7:10-14). The Capitol of the world will be at the city of Jerusalem where Jesus Christ will sit upon his Throne, ruling over the world (Isaiah 2:1-4, Jeremiah 3:17). A Temple will be built for people to come to worship God (Zechariah 6:,12,13, Zechariah 14:16,17, Mark 11:17). The Lord Jesus Christ and his saints will proclaim to the world that all nations must submit to his rule (Psalms 2:6-9, Psalms 47:2,3), but those nations who refuse to submit to the Lord Jesus Christ will be punished (Zechariah 14:18,19, Isaiah 60:12). The Lord Jesus Christ will destroy the armies of Russia at the battle of Armageddon (Ezekiel 38:18-23). The Bible declares that the Lord Jesus Christ is going to be given absolute authority to act with the power of God (Matthew 28:18, 1 Peter 3:22, Daniel 7:14) and will perform many miracles (Joel 2:28,29).

We, the Christadelphians, write and publish this article to bring attention to the dramatic point the world has reached by going in the wrong direction. WARNING! Do not leave your understanding of Bible prophecy in the hands of the world’s religious leaders. Their teaching is misleading and potentially fatal. There is no hope for those who believe wrong doctrine (I Timothy 4:16). ‘Do not believe every spirit (teacher or priest), but try (test) the spirits (teacher or priest) whether they are of God; because many false prophets are gone out into the world’ (I John 4:1).

If you would like to learn more about what God has planned for this earth and those of us that are on it, we, the Christadelphians (Christ’s Brethren) would be pleased to send you free and WITHOUT ANY OBLIGATION, exciting literature that explains what the Scriptures have to say on this matter and other matters of Bible prophecy. Please take advantage of our free literature offer listed below. We are more than happy to share with you what the Bible says and encourage you to test whatever we might say by the word of God (Isaiah 8:20). Thank You!
